Pippa

Owner's Statement:  In August 2024, my sweet little toy poodle, Pippa, underwent emergency surgery and treatment at Canada West.  In what was the most heartbreaking time of our lives, the Neurology team and the rest of the staff at Canada West led with compassion and expertise. I will forever be grateful for the care and empathy we received in our final days together.

While Pippa’s life was much too short, it was beautiful. In her four years, she spread more joy, love, kindness, and fun than most people do in a long lifetime. The only sliver of peace I have in all of this is knowing that Pippa had access to every treatment option that was available to her at Canada West, which is a luxury that many people do not have. I raised $3,100 in Pippa’s honour and am thrilled to donate it to the Jesse and Bandit Fund in hopes that this will help more animals get the life-saving care they deserve, and that it will allow Pippa to continue to spread joy and love.
